Cruwys Morchard Home Page

Cruwys Morchard is the place where all Devon meets together. The Church stands at the point where the plateau land of North Devon gives way to deep valleys of Mid Devon which with their long fingers reach down to the river Exe.  Within the parish are three hamlets: Pennymoor, Way Village and half of Nomansland - for the boundary goes along the cross-roads in the middle of it.

Cruwys Morchard is reputed to be one of the largest (geographical) parishes in the county.
