New Parish Hall

In Cruwys Morchard we have a Parish Hall that was built in 1928 and is in very poor condition - so bad that expert opinion says it can't be repaired but needs to be completely rebuilt! ............

Why Do We Need a New Parish Hall?..
The existing Parish Hall was constructed around 1928 as a Mens Club using single skin blockwork, timber and asbestos.  The Hall has become the focus for Parish Events but is now reaching the end of it's practical life.
..
The condition of the building fabric is deteriorating and, coupled with a lack of investment, has led to the facilities becoming outdated and falling below the current regulatory standards.  The toilet provision, disabled access kitchen, thermal insulation, heating system and security all needing updating.  Therefore Hall usage is becoming more restrictive and is declining due to the poor condition.
