The Local Plan was adopted in 2006 and contains site-specific policies including land allocations for development, and generic policies to be used in determining planning applications. Since 2006, a number of Local Plan policies have been deleted, superseded or replaced, primarily through the adoption of the Core Strategy in 2007 and the Allocations & Infrastructure Development Plan Document in 2010.
The Local Plan Part 3 will complete this process and replace the 2006 Local Plan. In the meantime, the following list is a schedule of the remaining Local Plan policies.
