The Local Land Charges Service is responsible for the maintenance of the local land charges register and deals with search request applications, normally submitted by your solicitor or licensed conveyancer. We are now able to receive searches electronically via the internet through our online search request service (see below).
Local Land Charges are unable to tell you who owns a piece of land or where the boundaries lie, for enquiries of this nature you should contact HM Land Registry at Plymouth.
