SUBMISSION of Allocations and Infrastructure Development Plan Document (2009)

On 21st December 2009 the Council submitted the Document to the Secretary of State for independent examination, together with its Sustainability Appraisal Report, Statements of Consultation and Representations, list of minor changes, evidence base and copies of all formal representations received. They can be viewed at District Council offices in Cullompton and Tiverton or in Bampton, Crediton, Cullompton, Tiverton and Uffculme libraries during their respective opening hours.

Consultation on Non Allocated Sites

The Council has received representations seeking the inclusion of further development sites. It has published a document setting out these sites and seeking views on their inclusion. The document is available to view from the link below, and comments should be sent to

Appointment of the Inspectors

Brian Sims and David Hogger have been appointed as the independent inspectors to consider the soundness of the submitted document. Marlene Johnson is the Programme Officer who will be assisting the Inspectors in organising the examination. The hearing sessions are expected to occur during April, and the programme officer will be in touch with those who have made representations to advise them of relevant details.
