Den building, camp fires and a whole range of outdoor activities start this week at Tiverton Adventure Playground and are set to continue throughout the summer.
The free sessions, which run from 10am to 4pm on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays until the end of August, are open to children and families. Children aged over 8 are welcome to come and go as they please, but under 8's can attend as well as long as they're accompanied by an adult.
Children are advised to wear suitable clothing and bring a packed lunch.
The play scheme is organised by a partnership of local agencies that include Mid Devon District Council, the Early Years and Childcare Service, Involve, the County Youth Service and Tiverton Adventure Play Association.
All play sessions are staffed by qualified youth workers provided by the Youth Service.
