Your Neighbourhood

The Housing Service has three Area Neighbourhood Teams. Each team looks after a patch within Mid Devon's boundaries. Your Area Neighbourhood Team is your first point of contact for housing enquiries. Below is a list of these patches, their Officers and telephone numbers. A more detailed list by postcode and ward can be found in the pdf icon Neighbourhood Team Map [600kb].  All teams can be emailed at htenancy@middevon.gov.uk.

Neighbourhood Walkabouts

We visit each area at least every six months to meet tenants and check for repair needs. Tenants are welcome to join us as we walk around their area to raise any concerns and share ideas for improvement. If you would like to know when we are next in your area, please see pdf icon Neighbourhood Walkabouts by Ward 2013-14 [113kb].Environmental Budget

We want you to enjoy living in your home and your area. As our tenants, you know more than we do about things that need improving where you live.

Each year, we give money to the three neighbourhood areas. This is for environmental improvements that benefit all tenants in their local area. There is no limit on what the budget is for; but we do insist that it benefits the wider tenant community, not just an individual tenant. Previous projects include improved parking facilities, extra street lighting, seating benches and improvements to grassed areas.

If you have an idea for an improvement, please complete the pdf icon Environmental Budget Application Form [22kb] or email tenantinvolvement@middevon.gov.uk to discuss it. All applications will be considered in accordance with our pdf icon Environmental Budget Project Procedure [25kb].
