Community Housing Strategy 2010 - 2015
The
Community Housing Strategy 2010 - 2015 [898kb] now needs revising to ensure that it is up to date and relevant. The Authority is therefore seeking the views of the people who live in Mid Devon, organisations which work in the District and other Councils to help us with this review.
We have identified five priority areas:
- Priority One: Delivering affordable housing
- Priority Two: Making better use of existing housing stock
- Priority Three: Preventing homelessness
- Priority Four: Managing the impact of an aging population
- Priority Five: Reducing the impact of welfare reform
We want your views on what you see as being important in terms of housing in Mid Devon. Please complete out Housing Strategy Online Survey, or our
Housing Strategy Questionnaire [340kb] form to htenancy@middevon.gov.uk. If you could like a paper copy of the form, please telephone 01884 255255 to request one.
The consultation will run until 31 July 2013. After that, we will review the comments and use them to inform the work we are doing on the draft strategy, as appropriate. We aim to send out the draft to all those people who returned the survey so that they can comment. We plan to launch the new strategy at the beginning of April 2014.
If you want more information about the consultation and the review of the housing strategy, please contact Mrs Claire Fry, Housing Services Manager, on 01884 234920.
Come on, have your say to ensure that the new housing strategy reflects what you see as important!
