Local Implementation Group for Older Persons
The Local Implementation Group gathers together organisations that provide services for older people. In September/October 2010 a 'Staying Independent in Your Own Home' survey was circulated to older council and housing association tenants, those who receive the community alarm service and users of Age Concern. The results from this survey provided evidence for the Older Persons' Housing and Services Strategy.
This new 
Older Persons’ Housing and Services [287kb] will be agreed with the councillors in March and we plan to launch it with an event with stakeholders in April.
Devon County Council has produced the new Devon Community Directory which we are sure will be useful to see what services are available.
