Oakford Village

Welcome to the Oakford village web-site.

Oakford is a small village nestling in the hills between Dartmoor and Exmoor. The terrain is very hilly, so that walks tend to be rather energetic. It is a rural community with farming, dairy, beef, and chickens. There is a pub, the Red Lion, with accommodation, village shop with post office, church and several Bed and Breakfast places.

This is a new web-site and pages will be added to write about the village activities, the walks in the area and the history of the village, as well as the people who live here. We look forward to hearing from you with ideas/comments regarding this site
