New Grant Scheme NOW OPEN - Community Commercial Hubs - CALL FOR EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST

Mid Devon UK Shared Prosperity Fund 2025

A capital grant scheme to support the creation of or improvements* to community commercial space** located in Mid Devon’s towns and villages.

*Improvements means adding, renovating or repairing facilities with the aim of creating better community commercial space. It does not include maintenance of existing facilities.

** Community commercial space includes, but is not limited to: community: retail, hospitality, office and industrial space (the space being used to generate an income).

Examples of projects include but are not limited to – the creation or improvement of community retail spaces, community pubs, community cafes and workspace to let i.e. hot desk facilities, work hubs and industrial space.  These can be ‘standalone’ spaces or incorporated into multi use centres such as town, village and community halls.

Who can apply?

Town and parish councils, community owned shops, community owned pubs or cafes, community land trusts, charitable organisations, village and community halls.

Timescale:

Projects must be delivered by and expenditure accrued by 31st December 2025.

What funding is available?

We have a total budget of £22,277
