If you report a missed collection we will hold your contact details, name and address, name of your business, email address and telephone number.


The information is collected by Customer Services.


It can be collected by web form, email or telephone conversations with Customer Services


Street Scene Services use this information to investigate the reason behind the missed collection.


The Personal data is used to investigate the missed collection.


We do not share this information with any other department.


The Trade Waste Department will retain your information in a safe and secure environment.All ICT systems are accredited to Public Service Network standards with access restricted to relevant staff. All paper records are stored securely and we have a clear desk policy.


We will retain your personal information on the drivers notes for 6 weeks following the missed collection to ensure no further missed collections take place. After 6 weeks the missed collection report is closed but the call log remains on the Customer Services Management System for 12 months

Was the refuse out at the normal collection point by 6am?
If No: Collection Times may vary from week to week and it is possible you missed the lorry. We may not be able to send the lorry back to pick up your refuse, depending on collection days for your area.

Was refuse collected from other nearby properties?

Have you seen the refuse lorry go past your property?

Please state if the refuse is in blue trade waste sacks or a wheeled bin:
If the missed refuse is in trade waste sacks we can send a small van to collect it. If it is in a wheeled bin then we need to send a proper bin lorry.
