We can offer support to vulnerable tenants.

This can involve offering a more proactive service targeting those in most need:

  • Providing advice on tenancy issues
  • Signposting and referring tenants to other agencies
  • Working closely with the Neighbourhood Officers and other teams, as required
  • Building links in local communities

Although there are some issues affecting our Lifeline service at the present time, we are working hard to resolve these.  We have some additional equipment on order to support this service but this is being impacted by supply chain issues.  We have a waiting list so that when we are able to do so, we will be in a position to supply and fit the equipment needed to enable those people who feel at risk to remain in their own homes.  This service offers a 24 hour, 365 days a year, monitoring service that gives people the freedom to live independently knowing that they can get assistance when they need it.
