The landlord service is committed to delivering excellent customer service and during the pandemic we are adapting our approach as necessary to ensure that we are keeping up to date with the latest advice from the Government. During the restrictions we are focussing on keeping tenants and other residents as safe as possible. We are trying to ensure that service delivery continues but some work may take longer or be delayed as a result of the need to ensure the health and safety of our workforce. The wellbeing of our teams is also of great importance and that is why, when you do see them on our estates or visiting homes, they will be wearing appropriate PPE. We are sorry if some services are taking longer than expected.
Our Officers are all working from home as much as possible, but a different Duty Officer for both the Income and Estates team will be available to talk to you. You should call 01884 255255 Monday – Friday and ask for a call back. If you are a tenant or a leaseholder and want to speak to the Neighbourhood Officer for your area, please email firstname.lastname@example.org a call back can be arranged. We want to support tenants wherever we can during these difficult times and therefore would ask that anyone who is having financial problems to contact us.
Please note that we may have to use some empty homes to temporarily accommodate homeless clients. At a later date these properties will be advertised via Devon Home Choice. We appreciate this is a difficult time for everyone but we have a statutory duty to house homeless clients and to keep everyone safe.
