An area of land, 153ha in size, to the east of Tiverton, is allocated for development. A Masterplan, the Tiverton EUE Masterplan SPD, was adopted in 2014. Within it is reference to three housing clusters south of West Manley Lane. Mid Devon District Council is seeking to amend the Adopted Masterplan SPD to remove the three land parcels.

Mid Devon District Council would welcome your comments on their removal. It provides an opportunity for interested individuals, groups and organisations to influence this part of the Tiverton EUE to comment on whether the land should be green infrastructure rather than developed for housing.

It is noted that this consultation event relates specifically to the removal of the three housing clusters. It will not address any other issues associated with the Tiverton EUE.

A Public Consultation Event is therefore proposed between

22 February and 5 April 2018

and seeks your views on how the area should be developed.

A summary of the presentation boards will be available throughout the six week period in the main reception at Phoenix House, Tiverton.

MDDC Officers will also be available at an event to answer your queries
