Please note that the majority of decisions are delegated to planning officers - these are marked as "DEL" in the 'expected decision level' column. Others are considered by the Planning Committee which meets once a month - these are marked as "COMM" in the 'expected decision level' column:

In the event of an appeal against a refusal of planning permission (which is to be dealt with on the basis of representations in writing), any representations made about the application will be sent to the Secretary of State, and there will be no further opportunity for comments at appeal stage.
