Apprentice Building Surveyor (Planned Maintenance)

37 hours per week – 2 year Fixed Term
Salary: £3.40 per hour
An opportunity has arisen for an Apprenticeship based at Mid Devon District Council working in our Housing Service. The successful candidate will be working within a small but busy office environment. You will be involved in a range of administrative functions together with providing support in the administration of construction contracts including liaison with external consultants and contractors.
The Council will provide a structured training programme including qualifications appropriate for this post. This may include part time study for a B/TEC and ONC in Building Services.
Training on the apprenticeship programme for 16 to 18 year olds is a priority and fully funded by government. Training for apprenticeships for those over this age is part funded, with employers to make a part or full contribution.
