Specialist Lead (System Administration and Information Management)

PERMANENT: 37 hours per week
SALARY: £25,419 to £28,226
We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic individual with experience of working with a range of systems, information and data relating to Environmental Health and Housing Options.
You will work in our busy Public Health & Housing Options team providing technical systems support to all the officers as well as occasional assistance for the Street Scene service.
The person in this role will help to deliver system upgrades, provide process and system ideas and solutions to help the team be more efficient, ensure that our stored information is properly managed and data retention timescales are adhered to and work with the Team Leaders to interrogate the system for statutory data returns as well as local performance indicators.
In addition you will manage the freedom of information requests received by the team ensuring timescales for responses are adhered to.
You will ideally have knowledge of Uniform, Lalpac, or housing options systems such as Jigsaw. You will also be able to interrogate data and problem solve efficiently to keep the service operational.
You will have the opportunity to develop professionally and training will be provided where necessary to ensure you maintain your competency and help you develop your professional role.
Some activities can take place on an evening and weekend and therefore there will be occasional work outside of normal office hours.
