Salary: £23,865 - £26,469
We have an exciting opportunity to join a small Human Resources team and play a significant role in the delivery of our Mid Devon training plan. With our focus on improved performance management and use of resources, this full time role will be pivotal in supporting a changing culture through organisational development.
In promoting learning and development and good people management techniques, the successful applicant will identify, develop and co-ordinate a Mid Devon training programme, including bespoke management development programmes.
Monitoring the effective spend of the Council’s training budget and ensuring a return on investment is also an important aspect of this role, so an understanding of partnership working and budget monitoring is required.
The role will require liaison at all levels within the Council and external training providers, which will require you to have demonstrable influencing and communication skills. Workplace coaching skills are desirable but not essential.
