Salary: £23,865 - £26,469

The Council collect financial contributions from developments towards the provision of infrastructure via s106 planning obligations. Going forward the Council has resolved to implement a Community Infrastructure Levy.

The Council is therefore looking to appoint an Officer to develop, maintain and manage business processes, working practices, procedures and governance arrangements for the collection, monitoring and spending of the Community Infrastructure Levy and financial contributions from S106 agreements. The post holder will also be expected to be the first point of contact on Community Infrastructure Levy matters and will need to be able to provide guidance and advice.

You should have a good standard of education, knowledge of the planning processes and procedures, have the ability to use computer software to collate, query, analyse, interpret data, and have good communication skills. You should be able to work independently and as part of a team, as well as having an eye for detail and accuracy. Knowledge of the Community Infrastructure Regulations and Section 106 Planning Agreements is desirable and working knowledge or experience of using ‘Exacom’ is desirable.

A satisfactory basic disclosure check and three years complete employment history will be requested in the event of you being offered the position.
