Salary: Refuse Loaders £17,672 - £18,675 - Refuse Loaders/LGV Drivers £9.16 per hour rising to £10.92 per hour when driving
REFUSE LOADERS (post number EW09/ER11) - SALARY - £17,672 to £18,675
You will be required to work 37 hours per week which would generally be worked between 0530-1700 hours on a task and finish basis. A degree of flexibility will be required and the ability to work eight Saturdays following Bank Holidays each year paid at an overtime rate.
Duties will include:-
- Undertaking waste and recycling collections
- Undertaking bulky waste collections
- Carrying out litter picking and street bin emptying as required
- To work in the depot when required
- Fulfil other appropriate duties as delegated by your immediate supervisor
REFUSE LOADER/ LGV DRIVER (C Licence) (post number EW11/ER09)
Refuse LGV Loader/Drivers (£9.16 per hour rising to £10.92 per hour when driving) within our Refuse Team. You will need to hold a LGV Licence and Driver CPC. There will be an opportunity for you to step up and undertake driving duties at the higher rate as part of a pool of drivers to cover holiday and sickness.
Candidates for these posts must be in good health due to the physical nature of the role and have previous experience of working in a waste environment and must hold at least a car driving licence.
A satisfactory basic disclosure check and three years complete employment history will be requested in the event of you being offered any of the above positions.
