Active Mid Devon has launched a spring initiative to reward members for sharing the benefits of an active lifestyle. The “Refer a Friend” campaign gives members the chance to earn one month of free membership for every friend they refer who joins.

Running from 1 March to 30 April 2026, the offer gives all new members referred through the scheme a £15 saving by waiving the joining fee — making it the perfect time to reset routines, get active and enjoy local fitness as the lighter months arrive.

Councillor Josh Wright, Cabinet Member for Service Delivery and Continuous Improvement said:

“Spring is a great time to get moving again, and working out with friends makes it more fun, keeps you motivated and helps you stay on track. We’re excited to welcome new faces into our centres this season.”

The scheme is open to all Active Mid Devon members, who can make referrals quickly and easily through the Active Mid Devon App. There’s no limit to the number of referrals during the promotional period — meaning some members could enjoy multiple free months simply by introducing their friends.
