Dust off your cowboy boots and saddle up for one of Tiverton's biggest family events of the summer as Blazin' Saddles takes over Tiverton Pannier Market on Saturday 15th August, from 9am to 3pm.

Organised by Garfield from Garfield's Life is Sweet, Blazin' Saddles promises an action-packed day of Wild West fun, bringing together the local community for a celebration filled with entertainment, food and family activities.

Visitors can look forward to a host of attractions, including a thrilling Bucking Bronco, a Crossbow Carnival Game, face painting, a petting farm, live music and a variety of traditional Wild West-themed games and activities for children and adults alike. Many of the activities will be free to enjoy, with just a small charge for some games and attractions to help support the event.

Tom Nott, Tiverton Pannier Market Manager said:

"Blazin' Saddles is exactly the kind of event Tiverton Pannier Market is all about. We're proud to support Garfield and the Trader Collective in creating a fun-filled day that celebrates our wonderful market, our traders and the local community. It's going to be a fantastic event for all ages."

One of the stars of the show will be the chance to meet Sheriff Woody, who will be making appearances throughout the day, posing for photographs and helping create a fun-filled atmosphere for visitors of all ages.

Food lovers won't be disappointed either. Alongside visiting food vendor Y’all Get Loaded! The market's onsite café will be offering its own specially created Wild West-themed menu, ensuring everyone can enjoy a hearty meal while soaking up the day's entertainment.

Garfield, lead organiser of the event, said:

"We wanted to create a day that brings families together, supports our fantastic market traders and gives everyone a reason to come into Tiverton and have some fun. There's something for everyone, and we're especially excited to introduce Sheriff Woody, who I'm sure will become a favourite with children and adults alike. We hope Blazin' Saddles will be a day that people remember and look forward to every year."

Garfield also wanted to pay tribute to the many people who have helped make the event possible.

"I'd like to say a huge thank you to Dee from Devon & Somerset Crafts and Linda from Kwirky Krafts for all their hard work securing the support of our amazing local sponsors. Their enthusiasm and commitment have been incredible, and we'll be recognising all of our sponsors during the event."
"A special thank you also goes to Abbie, Market Assistant, for helping organise the event from the very beginning, and to Tom Nott, Market Manager, whose support and promotion have helped bring Blazin' Saddles to life. It's been brilliant working with such a dedicated team."

Blazin' Saddles has been created to celebrate everything that makes Tiverton Pannier Market special — a vibrant community, independent traders and a welcoming atmosphere where families can spend quality time together.

With more announcements and surprises still to come, organisers are encouraging everyone to keep an eye on the market's social media channels for the latest updates.
