Green Enterprise Grants (2025) - NOW OPEN
Grants Now Available to Support Mid Devon Businesses Go Green
Applications are invited to Mid Devon’s Green Enterprise Grant, which is now open to small and medium businesses in the district.
What’s available?
The scheme offers capital grants ranging from £500 to £5,000, covering up to 50% of eligible project costs. It is open to small and medium sized businesses who want to reduce their carbon footprint and deliver savings in greenhouse gas emissions, either directly from investing in energy efficiency and renewable energy, or by reducing the use of resources or materials. Projects should be fast to deliver and ready to go and must have a maximum project budget of £25,000.
Eligible projects could be initiatives to enhance energy efficiency and minimise carbon emissions such as energy-efficient lighting, low-energy heating systems, high-efficiency machinery and/or equipment, and renewable energy generation systems.
Applications for Green Enterprise Grants are open until 31st December 2025 (The scheme may close early if all funds are allocated.)

The new £30,000 scheme is funded by the Council’s climate and sustainability budget, and by driving local investment it will help achieve a Corporate Plan annual target to attract £100,000 of external funding to help reduce emissions in Mid Devon. It builds upon a Local Growth Fund supported pilot that provided grants to five Mid Devon Businesses during 2024-2025. Please use the link to see what has previously been funded.
