Mid Devon District Council is offering free parking to support Cullompton’s Autumn Festival this October.

Drivers will be able to park for free in Station Road Car Park all day on Saturday 11 October. The Council is keen to encourage visitors to the town and Members are looking forward to supporting the popular event.

Councillor James Buczkowski, District Councillor for St Andrews, Cullompton said:

"This event is more than just a gathering, it’s a grassroots effort to draw people into our town centre, showcase what Cullompton has to offer, and support the local economy at a time when many independent businesses are still struggling to regain stable footing.”

Councillor John Downes, Cabinet Member for Governance, Finance and Risk, said:

“As a council we are keen to encourage more footfall in our towns and supporting this festival in this way directly helps towards spending in shops, cafés, and market stalls, keeping our high streets alive, and supporting our local economies.”

The event runs from 9:30am - 2pm at various locations in the town centre and includes free activities for children including a drop-in circus skills workshop, apple trail, Lego corner, pot planting, apple craft activities, performances and more.

Further details about the Autumn Festival are available on their Facebook page. Details are also available in their flyer.
