Mid Devon Walking Festival 2024Get ready to put on your hiking boots and explore our great countryside as Visit Mid Devon proudly announces the launch of our Walking Festival, due to take place across the region from 14 to 29 September 2024.

“The Mid Devon Walking Festival intends to be an unforgettable celebration of nature, heritage, community, and the fun of walking” Cllr Keable, Cabinet Member for Planning and Economic Regeneration stated.  “This event is set to captivate adventurers, nature enthusiasts, and families alike, providing an opportunity to uncover the beauty of our slice of Devon here in Mid Devon.”

Highlights of the festival will include:

  1. Scenic Trails: Participants will have the chance to explore a variety of breath-taking trails that showcase the natural beauty and rich cultural heritage of our area. From serene woodland paths to challenging hills, there's something for walkers of all skill levels.
