Operator Appointed for Tiverton Work Hub
Building works on the new Tiverton Work Hub have now been completed, and an operator has been appointed to manage the space.
The Market Centre building in Tiverton has been transformed into a vibrant work hub offering co-working facilities and professional office space. The redevelopment responds directly to findings from a feasibility study, which identified strong demand for flexible working facilities in the town.
SiGNAL BIZHUB has now been appointed to operate the space and bring a wealth of experience from years of running other work hubs facilities elsewhere within the country. SiGNAL BIZHUB will manage day-to-day operations and promote the hub to businesses and individuals seeking a professional, collaborative environment to work from.
Councillor Steve Keable, Cabinet Member for Planning & Economic Regeneration, said:
“The completion of the Tiverton Work Hub marks a significant step in our efforts to support enterprise and economic vitality in the district.
“With a high-quality, experienced operator in place and modern facilities ready for use, this new space will offer much-needed support to self-employed workers, small businesses, and remote employees.”
Emma Selby, CEO of SiGNAL BIZHUB, said:
“We’re thrilled to bring SiGNAL’s proven approach to the new Tiverton Work Hub, and to help shape a space where businesses don’t just work, but truly connect, collaborate, and thrive. Our experience shows that when you put community, flexibility, and support at the heart of a work hub, you spark new ideas, partnerships, and local growth.
“We know the challenges - and the potential - facing small businesses and freelancers today. That’s why our team is dedicated to making sure nobody builds their business alone. The Tiverton Work Hub will offer more than just a desk or an office. It will be a place to find like-minded peers, access support, and become part of an energetic local business network.
“We look forward to welcoming entrepreneurs, remote workers, and local organisations to experience this new, vibrant hub and to help put Tiverton on the map as a great place to start and grow a business.”
The Tiverton Work Hub adds to a series of similar initiatives across the district, including projects in Crediton, Cullompton, Willand, and an innovation centre at Petroc College – all supported through Shared Prosperity Funding to help grow the local economy and expand access to flexible workspace.
The hub is expected to open to users after summer 2025, with further details on launch events and membership options to be announced shortly. Businesses or individuals interested in using the space can register their interest by contacting econdev@middevon.gov.uk.
