As part of the Regulator of Social Housing's Transparency, Influence and Accountability Standard, we publish information about senior management pay and the costs of managing housing services. The figures below have been calculated using the methodology recommended by the Regulator. This helps tenants compare information across different social landlords and better understand how housing services are managed.

Some of the Directors included in these calculations have responsibilities that extend beyond housing services and may spend only part of their time working on services for council tenants. For this reason, their inclusion in these figures should not be taken to mean that their full salary is funded by tenants' rent payments.

Management costs represent the costs of managing and delivering housing services to tenants, including frontline housing services and the support functions required to provide those services.

Income collected through rents and service charges is held within the Housing Revenue Account (HRA), which is separate from the Council's General Fund. These funds are ring-fenced and can only be used to support housing-related services.

The table below shows the Council's director remuneration and management costs for 2025/26, together with the equivalent cost per housing unit.
