What sort of updates will you receive?

Once the service is live, we may send text messages about:

• Local events and when we are working in your area

• Consultations where we want your views

• General housing or neighbourhood information

Why are we introducing text messages?

We know not everyone checks emails or social media regularly. Text messages will help us:

• Share information quickly and directly
• Let you know about things happening near your home
• Make it easier for you to get involved in local events and
  consultations

Using your contact details

• We will only use your mobile number for council or housing-related information
• Your details will not be shared with other organisations
• You can opt out at any time by following the instructions in the
  message

What you need to do

If we already have your current mobile number, you don’t need to do
anything. If your contact details have changed, if you want to check
what information we hold, or If you have any questions, please contact
