Sign up to receive collection day reminders
Mid Devon residents can now subscribe to alerts via the Council’s new portal, My Mid Devon.
The self-service portal, which was introduced last month, allows customers to create their own accounts, enabling them to check their collection dates as well as log issues and access information such as who their local councillors are.
Once registered, residents can sign up to receive regular email reminders to tell them what to put out for collection each week.
Additionally, in an effort to provide even more convenience, residents can also download their own collection day calendar through the online portal.

While the service has gone live and residents can use it to access any council service immediately, over time users will also be able to have more insight into the progress of requests and details about who is dealing with their enquiry and expected resolution date.
The system will run side by side with the current Citizen Access portal which allows residents access to manage their council tax account, including checking their balance, changing direct debits and updating addresses.
