Economic Development Needs Assessment

An economic development needs assessment has been completed for the Greater Exeter area, including Mid Devon. This includes the main report completed in January 2023 by consultant Hardisty Jones Associates, and a supporting market overview report completed in November 2022 by consultant JLL.

It is intended to update the evidence by preparing a Housing and Employment Needs Assessment. This will consider the impact of the new standard method for housing need as well as other, more detailed aspects of housing need. It will also consider the need for employment development, including any links between the two.
