Submission of Neighbourhood Plan
Silverton Parish Council, as the qualifying body, has formally submitted the Silverton Neighbourhood Plan to the District Council for the Publicity Stage, as required by the neighbourhood planning regulations.
The submission materials have been reviewed and checked to ensure regulatory compliance. Formal confirmation of our acceptance of the plan to proceed to the Regulation 16 Publicity Period was provided on 16 January 2022.

Printed copies of the Neighbourhood Plan are available for inspection at the following locations:
- MDDC Offices (Reception), Phoenix House, Phoenix Lane, Tiverton EX16 6PP (by appointment only)
- St Mary Church, Church Road, Silverton, Exeter, EX5 4HS
- Cullompton Library, The Hayridge, Exeter Hill, Cullompton EX16 6SA
How to make representations on the plan proposals:
Please email comments to firstname.lastname@example.org, making sure you include your name and address. You must provide these details for your response to be considered as a valid representation.
Comment forms are available should you wish to use one. These can be returned by email (as above) or posted to: Forward Planning, Planning Services, Mid Devon District Council, Phoenix House, Phoenix Lane, Tiverton, EX16 6PP.
All comments must be received by 12 noon on Friday 3 March 2023.
Any representations may include a request to be notified regarding Mid Devon District Council’s decision under Regulation 19 whether to ‘make’ the Silverton Neighbourhood Plan.
If you are commenting on specific sections of the plan, please indicate section headings or paragraph references in your response.
