Apprenticeships are a great way to earn while you learn – you get the hands on training and also the chance to put your skills into practice.

Apprenticeships can be completed by people of all ages from 16 upwards - with 244 approved different apprenticeships programmes available, and more being added all of the time, the range of options available is extensive.

At Mid Devon District Council, we offer a range of Apprenticeship types and levels, from GCSE equivalent Level 2 right up to Level 7, which is equivalent to a master’s degree.

We are proud to say that in 2021 ten employees and in 2022 three employees completed their Apprenticeships with the Council. With a further twenty-one people undertaking apprenticeships that the Council is running in partnership with colleges, universities and online providers.

  • Weston University Centre
  • Chartered Institute of Housing
  • South Devon College
