Notice of Election - Crediton Town Council (Lawrence Ward)

Election of a Town Councillor for the Town Ward listed below:

1. Nomination papers must be delivered to the Returning Officer, Phoenix House, Phoenix Lane, Tiverton, Devon, EX16 6PP on any day after the date of this notice, on Monday to Friday 10 a.m. to 4p.m. (excluding bank holidays) but no later than 4pm on Friday 30 May 2025.

2. Nomination papers may be obtained from the offices of the Returning Officer, Phoenix House, Phoenix Lane, Tiverton, Devon, EX16 6PP, during the times stated above, or by emailing elections@middevon.gov.uk

3. If the election is contested the poll will take place on Thursday 26 June 2025.

4. Applications to register to vote (for those not already registered) must reach the Electoral Registration Officer by 12 midnight on Tuesday 10 June 2025. Applications can be made online.

5. Applications, amendments or cancellations of postal votes and amendments or cancellations of proxy votes must reach the Electoral Registration Officer at Phoenix House, Phoenix Lane, Tiverton, Devon, EX16 6PP by 5pm on Wednesday 11 June 2025.

6. Applications for a Voter Authority Certificate or an Anonymous Elector’s Document valid for this election must reach the Electoral Registration Officer by 5pm on Wednesday 18 June 2025. Applications can be made online.

7. New applications to vote by proxy at this election must reach the Electoral Registration Officer at Phoenix House, Phoenix Lane, Tiverton, Devon, EX16 6PP by 5pm on Wednesday 18 June 2025.

8. Applications to vote by emergency proxy at this election must reach the Electoral Registration Officer at Phoenix House, Phoenix Lane, Tiverton, Devon, EX16 6PP by 5pm on Thursday 26 June 2025.
