PERMANENT: FULL TIME 37 HOURS PER WEEK
SALARY: GRADE E - £28,598 - £31,022
LOCATION: TIVERTON
We have a vacancy for a committed and enthusiastic team member to assist Electoral Services.
The successful candidate will assist with the preparation and maintenance of the electoral register and form part of the core team in organising major elections and vacancy by-elections for all tiers of government, other polls and referenda.
We are looking for a person with good communication and IT skills and a willingness to embrace new ways of working for future changes in electoral services. The successful applicant must be an excellent team player with experience of administration in a complex environment.
The post holder must be flexible and able to communicate confidently and effectively with electors, political parties, candidates, election staff and other stakeholders.
At key times, such as during major elections, the post holder will be required to work outside normal office hours.
Experience of working in Electoral Services is not a requirement, as full training will be provided.
