Mid Devon - Cullompton Neighbourhood Plan Referendum

I Jill May, being the Counting Officer at the above referendum held on Thursday 6 May 2021, do hereby give notice that the results of the votes cast is as follows:

Question - Do you want Mid Devon District Council to use the Neighbourhood Plan for Cullompton to help it decide planning applications in the neighbourhood area?

Number cast in favour of Yes 2,037 87.3%
Number cast in favour of No 272 11.7%


The number of ballot papers rejected was as follows: Number of ballot papers

B - voting for more answers than required 2
C - writing or mark by which voter could be identified 1
D - being unmarked or wholly void for uncertainty 22
E - rejected in part -
Total 25


Electorate: 7,840

Ballot Papers Issued: 2,334

Turnout: 29.77%


And I do hereby declare that more than half of those voting have voted in favour of the Neighbourhood Plan.
