Important Notice: Register of Interests

Local authorities will no longer be required to publish an elected or co-opted member’s home address in the public Register of Interests. This change is introduced through section 32A of the Localism Act 2011, as inserted by section 65 of the English Devolution and Community Empowerment Act 2026. We are currently in the process of updating these details. Please contact your Town/Parish Council or Mid Devon District Council if you have any questions, as paper copies are held.

While this work is underway, we will be temporarily removing all Registers of Interests from our Town and Parish webpages.

There are 62 towns and parishes in the Mid Devon area, 50 of which have a local town or parish council (Clayhanger, Hockworthy and Huntsham have a combined parish council "Borden Gate"). The remaining 12 hold parish meetings as required.
